Autism, ASD and Asperger's
At OsteoMed II, we treat autism and other learning disabilities by combining a series of allergy elimination treatments followed by vitamin supplementation and chelation for heavy metal toxicities. Results have demonstrated improved overall health and cognitive functioning for most of these children, and in the youngest patients, we have seen amazing reversals in their condition.
Allergy Elimination: The Foundation of Your Child’s Success
The treatment starts with a series of allergy elimination treatments to decrease food and environmental sensitivities and to improve immune system health. Gastrointestinal distress is reduced and children become calmer. Studies measuring children’s brain waves using an EEG have demonstrated a more tranquil, less chaotic pattern following allergy elimination treatments. Subsequently, children are more alert, focused and able to learn. Parents have reported improvements in their children’s behaviors when gluten (in wheat) and casein (in dairy) are eliminated from their diet. Allergy elimination helps by desensitizing them to these substances, and, in some cases, dietary restrictions are not necessary.
Restoring Health Through Nutritional Support
Years of “picky” eating habits can result in vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Specific nutrients have documented therapeutic benefits for optimizing neurological functions. Supplements will be suggested specific to your child’s needs.

Autism is a neurological disorder that has confounded researchers for decades. The diagnosis is difficult to obtain because the syndrome can encompass a myriad of seemingly-unrelated symptoms, including speech and language difficulties, lack of socialization skills and a variety of bowel disorders ranging from continual diarrhea to severe constipation.
