Thimerosal Going To Court
In June, the U.S. Federal Claims Court in Washington, DC will begin hearings on 4,800 claims filed by parents of children on the autism spectrum who blame the thimerosal (mercury) in vaccines as the cause for their children's disorders. Those in support of government funded vaccination programs are coming out with articles in full force.

An article by Arthur Allen, author of Vaccine: The Controversial Story of Medicine's Greatest Lifesaver, has written a recent article stating that if the court finds vaccines are guilty of triggering autism, it could order lifelong payments for the care of thousands of autistic children. Here's Allen's article; be sure to read his closing statement.

I hope that the Court rules that vaccines are the cause. Unfortunately, it will be tax dollars, and not drug companies, that will pay for the care of these damaged children.

acupuncture hand Soft drinks may be damaging your child's DNA
A professor of molecular biology and biotechnology at Sheffield University in the UK tested the impact of sodium benzoate on living yeast cells in his laboratory. What he found was alarming: the benzoate damaged an important area of DNA in cells known as the mitochondria.

He told The Independent: "These chemicals have the ability to cause severe damage to DNA in the mitochondria to the point that they totally inactivate it: they knock it out altogether."

Sodium benzoate has already been the subject of concern about cancer because when mixed with the additive vitamin C in soft drinks, it turns into benzene, a know cancer-causing substance.

"The food industry will say these compounds have been tested and they are complete safe," said Professor Piper. "By the criteria of modern safety testing, the safety tests were inadequate." He advises parents to think carefully about drinks with preservatives.
