Kirsten Ericson, MS, R.Ac., has a master of science degree in Oriental medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, where she completed three years of clinical assistantships and internships. She is certified in acupuncture by the National Certification Commission on Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. In addition, she is registered as an acupuncturist by the state medical board of Ohio. In 2002, she founded Summit Acupuncture in Akron Ohio, and is currently the Clinical Director.
Kirsten specializes in women's health including endometriosis, reducing the size of fibroids, and infertility. Women's health issues are addressed through a 2000 year old history of traditional Chinese medicine. Fertility issues, especially enhancing the success rate of in vitro fertilization, are among the main priorities of her practice.
Kirsten also has experience and works with many types of pain problems, including fibromyalgia.
