How It Works
Acupuncture for facial rejuvenation works through the use of medical microcurrent that is approximately ten times more powerful than any personal face lift product on TV. Approximately eight small electrodes are placed in specific acupuncture points on the face. The current moving through the electrode gently stimulates and tones the muscles, smoothing creases and lifting sagging areas. Unlike other face lift methods, acupuncture also has lasting health benefits.

The Founder of the Acupuncture Face Lift
Our needle-free acupuncture face lift was developed in 1994 by former employee, Keythe Karpinski, while she was working for one of the pioneers in cosmetic acupuncture. Following its development, the concept was used to create a device that people could purchase for at-home use. While this do-it-yourself product is safe for use by anyone, it is neither as powerful nor as effective as the original acupuncture face lift. With our protocol, each acupuncture point is stimulated approximately 17 minutes longer, and with much greater current than the home unit. Treatments are performed by Denise Laff under the supervision of OsteoMed II acupuncturists, Linda Corlett, and Kirsten Ericson.
What to Expect
The first face lift session includes an evaluation. The patient’s personal goals are discussed and comparison photos are taken. All sessions require a one-hour visit. For best results two sessions per week for six weeks are scheduled. You may occasionally skip a treatment without effecting the outcome. You will be so delighted by the outcome, you’ll want to keep the secret all to yourself. To maintain your youthful appearance, a maintenance treatment is suggested every six weeks.
"Side Effects” Are Good For You!
Blood flow may increase to the face creating a light tingling sensation, but do not be alarmed. Increased circulation is actually good for you and will inspire a rosy, healthy appearance. As the microcurrent stimulates acupuncture meridians, it has a positive effect on your health overall.
