Pain is an unpleasant sensation, ranging in intensity from slight through severe to indescribable. Sharp, throbbing, dull, nauseating, burning and shooting are among the qualities that pain can be experienced to have. While pain is association with an occurrence in the physical body,  pain can also arise from the emotions. Pain can be a sign of tissue inflammation, an early warning sign that the body needs attention before it deteriorates to the point of disease.

The two most common forms of pain reported in the U.S. are headache and back pain; both can be rooted in a variety of causes. At OsteoMed II, doctors use many different unique yet effective techniques to get to the bottom of the problem. Our goal is to correct the cause instead of just treating the symptom.

The primary focus of Dr. Walsh's practice is treating pain problems, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and sports injuries.

Dr. Walsh is highly trained in Cranial Osteopathy, the study of anatomy and physiology of the cranium and its inter-relationship with the body as a whole. It may be applied for the prevention and treatment of disease and enhancement of health, within the practice of the science of osteopathy.  Osteopathy in the cranial field is an expansion of the general principles of osteopathy.  Treatment restores structural balance, improves vitality and can help people with many different disorders.
